Add a stamp or a seal to a PDF
No watermark · Image kept locally
Add your company seal to a quote, an agreement, a certificate or a PDF form. The stamp is handled separately from the signature, so you can place both in the right spot without mixing them up.
How to put a stamp on a PDF
- Prepare the image of the seal. A transparent PNG gives the best result, but a sharp photo on a white background works too.
- Import the PDF. Local mode opens the file in the browser without uploading it.
- Tap where the seal goes on the document, then “Add a stamp” in the menu that opens. Select the image and use background removal if it has a white background.
- It is placed where you tapped. On a computer, right-clicking remains a shortcut to place it somewhere else.
- Adjust and export. Move the seal, resize it, then download the PDF.
Which documents can I stamp?
A stamp is useful for quotes, invoices, training agreements, certificates, association files, purchase orders and internal documents. It can include the company name, address, SIREN number or the organisation's usual contact details.
Does a stamp replace a signature?
No. A seal visually identifies an organisation, whereas a signature expresses a person's agreement. Depending on the document, add both. A stamp alone does not create a qualified electronic signature and does not replace the formalities required by law or by the recipient.
Privacy of the seal
If you turn on the remember option, the stamp image stays in your device's local storage. It is not sent to Parapheo and can be deleted at any time from the tool.
