Remove pages from a PDF after checking

Spot the unneeded pages in the thumbnails, mark them for removal and export a new copy. The original file is never overwritten.

  1. Load the PDF and wait until all the numbered thumbnails are visible.
  2. Select the pages to remove and check the number of pages kept before going ahead.
  3. Download the result under a new name and keep the original until you have finished checking.
Limits to know: up to 100 MB and 200 pages. At least one page must remain. Removing a visible page does not guarantee that all the metadata or internal attachments of a complex PDF are erased.

Frequently asked questions

Does deleting change the original file?

No. The browser creates a new PDF to download and leaves the original intact on your device.

Can I recover a page after export?

Not in the exported file. Keep the original so you can start again with a different selection.

How is this different from extracting pages?

Deleting starts from the pages to remove. Extracting starts from the pages to keep. Choose the method that needs the fewest selections.
