Add page numbers or a Bates reference

Choose simple numbering, page of total or Bates, then set the starting number, prefix, position, size and margin before export.

  1. Open the PDF and choose the number format that suits the file.
  2. Set the position, the first number and any opening pages to skip, such as a cover page.
  3. Check the text preview, export, then check a short page, a busy page and the last page.
Limits to know: up to 100 MB and 200 pages. Numbering is a visible marking, not a way of sealing, protecting or certifying the document.
