JPG and PNG photos · One PDF
Turn multiple photos into a single PDF
Up to 20 images · 100 MB in total · Local processing
To create a PDF from several photos, select your JPG or PNG images, reorder them, fix their rotation, then choose pages at the original dimensions, in A4 portrait or in A4 landscape. Each image you keep becomes a page of the PDF.
Prepare the images before converting
- Photograph the document flat, with even lighting and no shadows on the text.
- Crop any unnecessary edges in your photo app if needed.
- Rename or sort the images so they are easier to select in the right order.
- Check that each photo is legible before creating the PDF. The conversion does not fix blur.
Create the PDF step by step
- Choose up to 20 images. Accepted formats are JPG and PNG, up to a limit of 100 MB in total.
- Reorder the list. Use Move up, Move down or drag and drop. The first image shown becomes the first page.
- Rotate the photos if needed. Each Rotate action turns the image by a quarter turn.
- Choose the page size. Keep the image size, or use A4 portrait or A4 landscape.
- Set the margin. The value is limited to between 0 and 50 mm and applies to A4 pages.
- Create and review the PDF. Check the order, the orientation and that all the pages are there.
Original dimensions or A4 pages?
| Setting | Result |
|---|---|
| Image size | The page takes on the pixel dimensions of the embedded image, with no margin applied. |
| A4 portrait | The image is centred on a vertical page, keeping its proportions. |
| A4 landscape | The image is centred on a horizontal page, keeping its proportions. |
In the A4 modes, the image is scaled down to fit the space available after the margin. It is neither stretched nor cropped to fill the whole sheet.
JPG and PNG: what the tool accepts
Parapheo accepts JPEG and PNG files for this workflow. The JPEG committee describes the JPEG family of standards, and the W3C publishes the PNG specification. The conversion creates a PDF but does not run character recognition: photographed text remains embedded as an image.
